I sort of gave in.
I got a crock pot. It was on super sale at Target and Adam bought it.
Ugh.
Fun fact: Crock pots weird me out. You put them on the counter and plug them in and they cook food all the live long day. This is a problem for me because I don’t like the idea of leaving something to cook while I’m not home.
Adam did a test run while he was home.
When I got home it smelled like delicious corned beef.
And the house wasn’t burnt to the ground.
Guess we can keep it.
My husband Jerry’s says crock pots are good for corn beef, chicken, and split pea soup. I don’t really care for them much, but when he’s cooking it’s good. I seem to feel the need to see a flame on the stove top or turn the oven, I guess it’s my up bringing.
It’s just not the same! Its not so bad but it definitely won’t be my primary method of making dinner.
